Changing Unit - Classic Grey

Unit with drawers that can easily be transformed into a classic storage unit when a changing unit is no longer needed. The top cover is closed at the rear and to the sides and appears with an elevated edge with little round bars, which help give the changing unit the characteristic look for which the Sebra bed is so known and loved. The top cover (internal dimensions) has a depth of 66 cm and a width of 69 cm, which leaves room for a changing mat and other necessities required for nappy changes, changes of clothes or just a moment of babytalk.

The two drawers make it possible to store clothing, nappies, toys or other essentials. The drawers are equipped with "soft close", which makes sure that the drawers are closed gently. This minimises the risk of fingers being trapped, which is a good thing in the nursery, where little fingers may not be as quick as big ones.

The practical conversion from changing unit to a storage furniture piece is achieved simply by removing the changing board from the base. This feature makes it unnecessary to store or disassemble the complete changing unit when there is temporarily no need for it – or when there is no longer a need for a changing unit at all. This gives the changing unit an extra-long life and ensures a product that can grow with children or siblings – a piece of furniture that can easily be handed down.

The fronts feature notched handles which, along with the wardrobe’s rounded corners, help improve safety in your child’s room because there are no sharp corners or edges. The changing unit has four legs, which ensures an easier and less solid look than a changing unit without legs. Of course, this also allows for storage under the dresser if needed.

The Sebra Changing Unit meets the safety requirements of EN 12221-1:2008 + A1:2013 – Child use and care article. Changing units for domestic use. The changing unit has been designed for children from birth up to 12 months/11 kg. The paint used for the changing unit is organic and non-toxic, and has been tested against – and complies with – the tolerances of the European standard EN71-2, EN 71-3 – series of standards for toy safety. At the same time, the Sebra Changing Unit also complies with EN 717-1:2004, which concerns the maximum permitted formaldehyde emission of wood-based boards. Furthermore, the Sebra Changing Unit complies with the rules on VOC (volatile organic compounds), which ensure that there are no hazardous or environmentally harmful emissions from the paint.

The changing unit was designed in Denmark and produced in Europe. 

Overall, a functional, safe and classic changing unit/dresser without unwanted chemicals and with a long life.

The piece of furniture comes unassembled and is easily assembled by following the accompanying instructions, which should be stored for later use. 

WARNING: Never leave an infant on the changing table without adult supervision. Never turn your gaze away from the child while he or she is on the changing table. 

IMPORTANT!: Always remember to fasten the dresser to the wall using the included furniture anchor! 

Care and cleaning: 

Clean with a cloth wrung out in hot soapy water. Always use a soft cloth to avoid scratching, and always wipe off with a slightly damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleaning agents, bleaches or sharp objects for cleaning.
